The transfer gears in the FWD Chrysler transmissions are known to crack the case between the output and pinion shafts in high horsepower applications. The gears will try to push each other apart and the factory case is weak and lets go.
This cover will act as a girdle for the case all while increasing fluid capacity of the transmission. I've also included a drain hole so any fluid trapped in this cavity can easily be drained during gear swaps and fluid changes.
Cover does not come with a drain plug, but either standard 3/8 NPT or a magnetic 3/8 NPT can be used.
